Our 10 year old daughter has just spent the weekend playing in a volleyball tournament in a town several hours drive from Córdoba. Her team, novices to the national girls volleyball competition, made a great start .... coming home with 4th place!
The victory was a little surprising, given that the team is very ´green´, and were competing against older girls up to the age of 13.
The girls travelled with their volleyball ´profesora´ by bus, and slept in a local High School classroom. They had heaps of fun playing, watching other teams, learning new ´war cries´ in the dining hall, and getting to know a new part of the country.
What a beaut experience!
