After a journey of about 29 hours door to door we are home again in Cordoba. The connection in Buenos Aires didn't work for us, though it did for our baggage... figure that out! But we all got here safe and sound, and without any chucking during the turbulence near NZ.
It's nice to be home... the kids are already back to hassling the cats, some very kind friends had filled the fridge and it has been lovely to start catching up with people.
It was funny to see the cultural differences- when Ellie, our eleven year old popped in to school on Friday the kids came running from everywhere with hugs and kisses (even a few boys). Argentines are not slow in showing their affection.
Today we made a trip to the shops... and are shocked to see how much the prices have gone up in six months. A 3 litre tub of ice cream was 26 pesos when we left and is now 35 pesos.
great to hear you've all arrived safely. we'll have to send you over some ice-cream!
