On Monday night we heard a strange noise coming from the lounge room. When we investigated we found our 'adolescent' cat sort of choking and coughing, with our pet fish next to him on the floor. The fish wasn't really moving. I put him back in the fish tank, but not really to any avail. He ended up with a trip to the river.
The poor fish has lived for two years with a cat in the house, and whilst our other cat, a female Siamese, has shown interest in him, she has never 'gone fishing' like this. This new cat is more of a challenge!
