ENCA

The ABUA national conference was thoroughly enjoyable.

Well not the 40 plus heat, or this year´s lack of swimming pool. Nor the ant plague that even marched into our bed.

However the general feel of the camp was very encouraging. Although there were loads of new faces from all over the country, everyone got on really well together. Our kids felt very included, and with an increase in language ability we were able to participate more.

With 10 days of shared meals, small group work and free time, we had plenty of opportunities to chat and encourage students. And Martin and I each led a different 3 day seminar .... Martin´s topic was ´Evangelism´ while I led a group of girls through ´Women of God´.

A very different experience from the previous ABUA national conference we attended in 2010, when one of our kids fell from a tall bunk bed and ended up in hospital for 2 nights!
